LKF Releases Calendar Of Events For Sierra Leone Trip The leadership of the Liberia Kickball Federation (LKF) has released the itinerary for the much-publicized trip to neighboring Sierra Leone. LKF, in a statement issued on Friday, January 16, 2026, informed stakeholders, sponsors, and partners that the long-awaited trip is now scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The delegation will depart Liberia in the morning of February 4 and arrive in Freetown by 6 p.m. While in Freetown, there will be a parade, a program of acceptance, and an exhibition match the next morning (February 5), followed by the departure of the LKF delegation to Bo City. Meanwhile, a team of LKF trainers will be left in Freetown to conduct the first Trainer of Trainers (TOT) workshop for Physical and Health Education teachers. In Bo, the team will also conduct another TOT for selected participants. The LKF delegation will have a rest on Friday, February 6, and resume normal activities the next day (Saturday, February 7), with exhibition matches. This will then conclude the engagement between the LKF delegation and its Sierra Leonean counterpart. With the conclusion of all its scheduled activities, the delegation will depart for Liberia on Sunday, February 8, 2026. In a related development, the Federation wishes to inform all players, coaches, and officials wishing to travel with the delegation to pay a minimum amount of US$50.00. The said amount will cover transportation, accommodation, and feeding. Deadline for the payment of this amount will be the 26th of January, 2026. Additionally, the leadership is seeking the kind support of the Government of Liberia, both public and private partners, towards an undertaking that seeks to promote the image of the country.
